InfiMed: Varian's Imaging Software & Workstation Products
At the beginning of March 2012, Varian Medical Systems, Inc. anounced it had reached an agreement to acquire InfiMed, Inc., a privately-owned, leading supplier of workstations including hardware and software for processing diagnostic X-ray images.

The Infimed Imaging Software and Workstation products have been integrated into the Varian Medical Systems suite of products. Through the acquisition, InfiMed has helped advance Varian’s software and specialized hardware in the areas of digital medical imaging systems for a variety of modalities:

- Cardiology and Angiography
